I am so sorry that I have been away for so long, if any of you are still reading my blog!
I have been bombarded with school and work lately.
I am not having a good day, and I just need to relax. The only thing that helps me relax is thinking about Japan or fashion or blogging. So here I am.
Hmmm... what is there to say?
I have definitely mastered the art of Ebay shopping for clothes from China!
I did a couple of test orders and found out that most asain sizes fit my body; this means I can order clothes from Chinese retailers without having to worry about sizing!
The dress that I am wearing in this picture I got online. I love rose prints!
See, already I feel better (*^_^*)
It's good to be back!
More later!

My boyfriend took me to a little cafe called Les Madeleines for their specialty pastry, the Kouing-aman. It tasted amazing and had the best texture ever!!
We also went to a buffet and ate a bunch of asain food :) The green beans were really yummy. I love crab ran goons too!!
Found a Boo stuffed animal at Urban Outfitters. Sooo fluffy and cute!!!!!! I wanted it. But I also wanted new clothes. So instead I just took a picture with the little cutie.

Directions to achieve perfection
I have been beating myself up these past couple of days, figuratively speaking. I open up a web browser to tumblr and type in the words "gyaru". I sit there and scroll through all of the pretty model pictures. I look over at my closet. I heave a sigh and I think to myself, "I will never be half as fashionable as these girls. And even if I do achieve that, with some sort of magical money that falls from the sky, I won't look good in these clothes because I will never be as skinny..."
Sound familiar?
Maybe not. But this is me every once in a while. Maybe it's how you feel too.
The key to striving for perfection is to not. I'm not saying you shouldn't try. I'm just saying, be aware that no one is perfect. And no one will ever be perfect. The act of comparison is a girl's worst enemy. Especially to girls with low self-esteem or eating disorders. It's okay to have inspirational pictures and people. But remember: No one goes around in platform loafers, mini dresses, and straw cloche hats all the time, duh. I bet even Satomi Yakuwa owns a pair of sweat pants.
Headband: Forever21
Denim dress: Papaya
Cardigan: Target

New Apartment
Moved into a new apartment yesterday :)
I wonder what this term is going to be like.
Honestly, so far I have felt pretty lonely. I don't have a room mate, and just one housemate and we haven't talked much yet. I went to church this morning and I was late and I felt so weird looking at all of the new faces. The thing that is strange about University is that people move in and out of your life so fast. You are always meeting new people. It's great, because you have to opportunity to make friends, but it can also get pretty lonely at times.
here are some pics of my new place:
I guess we will see where this takes me!
Also, I did some spring shopping yesterday, can't wait to show you guys my outfits <3

Japanese 101
I think that my Japanese class has been a very good college experience. I really enjoyed trying to learn a new language, and I plan on continuing my studies in Japanese throughout college!
These guys have been so good to me, even when I completely forget how to say anything in Japanese!
Someday I hope that I will really be able to speak Japanese, if not fluently, then at least better than what I can do right now!
It's exam season for me right now- I have 5 exams to take in the next week. I can't wait until they are over!!!

Kawaii Kiki
